Cavity wall tie surveys are often recommended during the house buying process; generally following a valuation or homebuyers survey or following a structural survey.

• Identify the number of wall ties.

• Detail the distribution of wall ties.

• Describe the condition of the ties.

• Expose a representative number of ties to establish the condition of the tie in the brickwork.

• Make repair recommendations as required.
